Team Takeoff 11U boys take home the championship rings

11U boys team won the Zero Gravity Rumble for the Ring event this weekend.

These young players showed lots of heart all weekend, beating 'Watch us Change us' in the semi final round 47-43.

The championship game was a tightly contested match-up against Team Swish, a team that has previously beaten Team Takeoff 10/11U two times before. Team Takeoff came out of the gates with high energy and intense defense and it continued throughout the match. Takeoff boys held the lead for all but one minute of the game, taking home the championship with a 39-35 victory.

The team was led by Brandon Boisseau and Jesai Wanzambi who each poured in 11 and 15 points respectively. Boisseau was a blur with the ball in his hands, unstoppable at getting to the rim for layups. Wanzambi was a load all weekend long, dominating the paint with his physicality.

Other notable players for Team Takeoff were Marc Adams, John Dolan, and Greyson Robbens who all made big contributions with their overall hustle and effort.
