Team Takeoff 14U Girls Capture the ring at Zero Gavity's Rumble for the Ring event

Team Takeoff 14U girls found themselves playing two grades up this weekend in the 10th grade division but that did not stop them from battling through competition and taking home the championship and the tournament prize ring.

14U had a great playoff run, cruising past 845 Lightening in the semi final round, 68-13, and then finishing the championship game with a 52-42 win over a very well coached NSBA Phenoms program from the Berkshires.

In the championship game the team was led by Mia Natale who was on fire all weekend long and led the team with a whopping 19pts in the championship which included four 3pt shots made. Also making big contributions were Mahogany Felix and Jeniyah wood who tallied 16 and 14 point respectively.

14U girls will be off headed into next weekend as they prepare to compete in the Select Events Winter Series at Spooky Nook, in Manheim PA on November 18-19.
